Sounds like music to my ears!
Hard to find this great sounding exhaust in Youtube. There is less to none engine when accelerated. Great bike!!

9 schaeferspeedmn November 14, 2009 at 2:10 am

Probably not

10 mcdamike November 14, 2009 at 2:26 am

does anyone know if FXR or Dyna mid control would fit onto a 88′ Xlh Sportster ?

11 harleyultra1550 November 14, 2009 at 3:10 am

I had a 05′ 883 XL, I really liked that bike but I couldn’t keep it and get a bigger one.

nice ride, but what’s up with the cheesy moon sticker?

13 pacificateur99 November 14, 2009 at 3:28 am

magnifique tous simplement

14 GoochRA November 14, 2009 at 3:45 am

…sigh…all you sport bike people know nothing about harleys. And all you halrey people know nothing about sport bikes. A sportster is easliy the fastest non racing bike you can find and will turn all most as well as a sport bike. No it will not accel as fast as a sport bike, but the damn things fly…..but then again do you really need to ride over 100 mph on the intersate or around a mountian curve……..no…way to be a dick

15 trailwalker71 November 14, 2009 at 4:06 am

Very cool ride.

21 NoSweatOffMySack November 14, 2009 at 5:40 am

anyone notice when it revs up at :30 that there is nobody twisting the throttle? Hmmm….

22 fireworkstube November 14, 2009 at 5:44 am

I believe it is a 5 speed. I 1991 and up are 5 speed.

23 fireworkstube November 14, 2009 at 6:10 am

Nothing. XLH is the model designation for a Sportster, 1200 is the displacement.

24 pokermar November 14, 2009 at 7:09 am

what is the difference between an xlh 1200 and a 1200(sportster)

25 mcdamike November 14, 2009 at 7:25 am

Nice XLH. I just bought mine tonight, an 88′ 1200cc. going to bob the heck out of it. will post video on it.
