I’ve been seeing more and more bikers not being served at drive up windows. This seems to be especially popular at Wendy’s. Here’ s kind of how it goes… Ride up to Wendy’s order station on sportster, turn off engine and take off helmet so I can hear,order my food and go to the pay window.
Once there, I am told in no un-certain terms that I would have to go inside to get my food because they don’t serve walk up guests at the drive up window. To add insult to injury, they treat me as though I slapped them in the face by even trying.
While I can understand not wanting to serve pedestrians, and even bicyclists. But to not want to serve me because I’m on a motorcycle?
I think the next time it happens, IF I go back there again, I will start screaming discrimination and lawyers and see if I can’t get a free frosty out of it.
