Congrats! Keep it like it is! It's the best thing to do! Customization harms the engine. I did it with my Virago 250 here in Brazil, but i didn't! Congrats again!

You have an excellent motorcycle. In the near future you'll want to upgrade. If the motorcycle is in still good looks and shape keep the price high. It's an excellent learners motorcycle as well. If you decide to keep after upgrading to a more powerful Harley, get the extended pegs, change tank size(4.8 gal) and older style, change handle bars, (cont-)

(cont-) seat, and shorter rear shocks giving it an even more classical meaner yet sleeker look. I did it to my '95 and regreted selling it. The man crashed it. I have had other beautiful Harleys but miss my first. Mine was black and chromed, but I like the black aspect of yours. I took motorcycle riding classes, both beginer's and advanced, and got the most out of them. Live to ride, ride to live.

God bless

Upgrade? learners motorcycle? If you like the bike, keep it and customize it. Or you can "upgrade" to to keep up with someone else's taste. I've owned Triumph's, Norton's and a royal enfield and no one ever called them learners bike's and they were all under 1000cc. What is it with harley riders and sportsters? I ride a bobbed sportster and love it. Enjoy your bike and keep it as long as YOU want to.
