While I’ve never had too much trouble shopping for the H-D addicts on my list, the wizards in Milwaukee have announced a means for enthusiasts to become a permanent part of Harley history and just in time for the holidays.
Living the Legend is an opportunity to become a lasting part of the Harley-Davidson museum set to open in 2008 by allowing individuals (and groups) the opportunity to create an authentic engraved stainless steel rivet. Each rivet rivet will be dis
played on either a curved steel wall or a special plaza on the grounds of the museum and will display thousands of stories, experiences and connections among Harley-Davidson riders, dealers and friends.
Living the Legend rivets will be available for customization until December 31, 2007 to ensure installation in time for the Motor Company’s 105th Anniversary celebrations.
