hmmm….when I was 12 years old my dad got me a 1975 175cc Harley for my birthday. It was made in Italy and HD just put their stamp on it. but it moved like a bat out of hell. My dad still has a 1974 sportster that is in storage and rusting. I want to restore it, but after seeing this video I will buy an Iron if they are available. BTW– I still have the 75 Harley.

Upgrade? learners motorcycle? If you like the bike, keep it and customize it. Or you can “upgrade” to to keep up with someone else’s taste. I’ve owned Triumph’s, Norton’s and a royal enfield and no one ever called them learners bike’s and they were all under 1000cc. What is it with harley riders and sportsters? I ride a bobbed sportster and love it. Enjoy your bike and keep it as long as YOU want to.

(cont-) seat, and shorter rear shocks giving it an even more classical meaner yet sleeker look. I did it to my ‘95 and regreted selling it. The man crashed it. I have had other beautiful Harleys but miss my first. Mine was black and chromed, but I like the black aspect of yours. I took motorcycle riding classes, both beginer’s and advanced, and got the most out of them. Live to ride, ride to live.

God bless

You have an excellent motorcycle. In the near future you’ll want to upgrade. If the motorcycle is in still good looks and shape keep the price high. It’s an excellent learners motorcycle as well. If you decide to keep after upgrading to a more powerful Harley, get the extended pegs, change tank size(4.8 gal) and older style, change handle bars, (cont-)

i dont think so, as its seat is only meant for one person.

22 Zemael November 6, 2009 at 10:24 am

Hello again! Does it have the passenger foot bar? Thanks!

23 Zemael November 6, 2009 at 10:34 am

Congrats! Keep it like it is! It’s the best thing to do! Customization harms the engine. I did it with my Virago 250 here in Brazil, but i didn’t! Congrats again!

im 6″1 and about 240 pounds, would i fit on this bike or should i look bigger, it would be my first bike so i just want to get to know what would really fit me without “breakin the bank” even though bikes are generally cheaper then cars. and cute puppy lol
